About Us
What does Kaesu mean?
We get this question all the time. Kaesu is a Japanese word that means to change, to turn over, to turn upside down, to hatch, to incubate.
As lifelong entrepreneurs, our founders wanted to create a company to hatch their ideas and opportunities. Focusing on the word “incubate,” we looked for a translation in another language that would serve as a great company name.
Thus the name “Kaesu” was born. It just so happens that business-wise, we are also “changing,” “turning over” and “turning upside down,” the traditional ways community newspapers and local advertisers do business. We believe the name “Kaesu” is a perfect fit for our company. The name embodies our current business model and future goals.
