What does Kaesu mean?
We get this question all the time.

Kaesu is a Japanese word that means: to change, to turn over, to turn upside down, to hatch, to incubate.

As our founders have been entrepreneurs their entire lives, they wanted to create a company that could essentially be an incubator for all of the ideas and opportunities they had. Focusing on the word "incubate", we looked for a translation in another language that would translate to a great company name.

Thus the name "Kaesu" was born. It just so happens that as a company, we are also "Changing", "Turning Over" and "Turning Upside Down", the traditional ways community newspapers and local advertisers do business. We believe the Kaesu name is a perfect fit for our company as it embodies our current business model and future goals.
